Oak Class Trip
Oak Class visited Taunton Museum this term
Oak Class enjoyed a trip to the Museum of Somerset in Taunton just before half-term where they explored Roman artefacts that had been found in the local area. They were all very polite and courteous to other visitors who were there and learnt a lot about Roman life.
"When my class went to Taunton Museum my favourite things were dressing up. I got to dress up as a Roman in a tunic, and when we explored the museum in the afternoon, I got to try on an old war uniform. In our workshop we got to be archaeologists and also look at old coins." Rebecca
"I liked looking at the swords and weapons because it felt like I was going back in time." Jasper
